【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardappliestofibreopticwavelengthswitches.Theterm"fibreopticwavelengthswitch"canbeusedtodescribeawiderangeofdevices,assembliesandsystemsbothactiveandpassive.Therefore,itisnecessarytoelaborateonthescopeandobjectofthisstandard.Thisspecificationisintendedtocoverthosedevicesandassemblieswhichhavethefollowingattributes.-Whiletheswitchactuationmeansisbynecessityactive,theopticalpathsthroughtheswitcharepassive.Thus,neitheropticalamplificationnoropto-electronicconversionisencompassed.-Theswitchfunctionisrestrictedtotheroutingoflightratherthanintentionalpowerdivisionplusrouting.Thus,signalbroadcastfunctionsarenotencompassed.-Theyhavetwoormoreportsforthetransmissionofopticalpowerandhavetwoormorestatesinwhichpowermayberoutedorblockedbetweentheseports.-Theportsareopticalfibresoropticalfibreconnectors.Wavelengthswitchingnormallyinvolvesseparationoftheindividualwavelengthstreamsoflightwhicharere-routedandthenrecombined.Thus,wavelengthswitchesmayinvolvemultipleopticaljunctionsandmultiple-stageswitchinglayoutsinteriortotheswitch.However,thespecificationsrelatetotheopticalperformancefromporttoportoftheoverallassembly.Systemcontrolandmonitoringwiththeirrelatedelectronicsandsoftwarearenotcoveredbythisspecification.Theswitchassemblymayhaveopticalmeanstofacilitatesuchfunctionality(suchasopticaltapsorwavelengthmonitoringmeans),butanyrelateddegradationinswitchperformanceshouldbecoveredbytheoverallswitchspecifications.Thisspecificationdealswithswitchesthatincorporatepassiveopticalpaths,and,therefore,itmaybeassumedthatthesignalperformance,otherthanthroughattenuation,isindependentofthesignalformat.However,particularlyinthecaseofwavelengthswitching,sometechnologiesforswitchingandforwavelengthdiscriminationmayhaveaninfluenceonthesignalsbeingcarriedonthechannels.Somefactorsthatmustbeconsideredare:spatialcrosstalk,crosstalkinthewavelengthdomain,andpolarizationeffects.Thisstandardestablishesuniformrequirementsforthefollowingpoints:-fibreopticwavelengthswitchrequirements;-qualityassessmentprocedures.
