【摘要】:ThestriptestinthistestmethodisconsideredsatisfactoryforacceptancetestingofcommercialshipmentsofTurfReinforcementMatssincethemethodhasbeenusedextensivelyinthetradeforacceptancetesting.5.1.1Incaseofdisagreementarisingfromdifferencesinreportedtestvalueswhenusingthistestmethodforacceptancetestingofcommercialshipments,thepurchaserandthesuppliershouldconductcomparativeteststodetermineifthereisstatisticalbiasbetweentheirlaboratories.Competentstatisticalassistanceisrecommendedfortheinvestigationofbias.Asaminimum,thetwopartiesshouldtakeagroupoftestspecimenwhichareashomogeneousaspossibleandarefromalotofmaterialofthetypeinquestion.Thetestspecimenshouldthenberandomlyassignedinequalnumberstoeachlaboratoryfortesting.TheaverageresultsfromthetwolaboratoriesshouldbecomparedusingStudent’t-testforunpaireddataandanacceptableprobabilitylevelchosenbythetwopartiesbeforetestingisbegun.Ifbiasisfound,eitheritscausemustbefoundandcorrected,orthepurchaserandthesuppliermustagreetointerpretfutureresultsinthelightoftheknownbias.1.1ThistestmethodcoversstriptestproceduresfordeterminingthetensilepropertiesofTurfReinforcementMats(TRM).1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareprovidedforinformationpurposesonly.1.3ThisstandarddoesnotapplytoTRM'smadeofcompositematerialswherethecomponentprovidingthereinforcementcannotbetestedfortensilestrengthwiththeprocedurehereindescribed.Inthiscase,theestablishedASTMtestingmethod,whichismostappropriateforthatmaterial,shallbeusedinstead.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
