【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoverssteelsheetmetalliccoatedbythehot-dipprocessandcoil-coatedwithorganicfilmsforexteriorexposedbuildingproducts.Sheetofthisdesignationisfurnishedincoils,cutlengths,andformedcutlengths.Buildingproductsincludecorrugatedandvarioustypesofrollandbrake-formedconfigurations.1.2Thesubstrateisavailableinseveraldifferentmetallic-coatedsteelsheetproductsasenumeratedin4.1,dependingontherequirementsofthepurchaser.1.3Coatingsystemssuppliedunderthisspecificationconsistofaprimercoatcoveredbyvarioustypesandthicknessesoftopcoats.Thecombinationofprimerandtopcoatisclassedaseitheratwo-coatthin-filmsystemorasatwo-coat(ormore)thick-filmsystem.Typicaltop-coatingmaterialsare:polyester,siliconepolyester,acrylic,fluoropolymer,plastisol,orpolyurethane.1.4Thisspecificationisapplicabletoordersineitherinch-poundunits(asA755)orSIunits[asA755M].Valuesininch-poundunitsandSIunitsarenotnecessarilyequivalent.Withinthetext,SIunitsareshowninbrackets.Eachsystemshallbeusedindependentlyofeachother.1.5Unlesstheorderspecifiesthex201C;Mx201D;designation(SIunits)theproductshallbefurnishedtoinch-poundunits.1.6Thetextofthisspecificationreferencesnotesandfootnotesthatprovideexplanatorymaterial.Thesenotesandfootnotes,excludingthoseintablesandfigures,shallnotbeconsideredasrequirementsofthisspecification.1.7Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
