【摘要】:TestMethodD2058isusefulfordeterminingtheeffectofrepeateddrycleaningontheappearanceofthedecorativecoatingofazipper.Thistestmethodisconsideredsatisfactoryforacceptancetestingofcommercialshipmentsbecausethemethodhasbeenusedextensivelyinthetradeforacceptancetesting.Iftherearedifferencesofpracticalsignificancebetweenreportedtestresultsfortwolaboratories(ormore),comparativetestsshouldbeperformedtodetermineifthereisastatisticalbiasbetweenthem,usingcompetentstatisticalassistance.Asaminimum,thetestsamplesshouldbeusedthatareashomogeneousaspossible,thataredrawnfromthematerialfromwhichthedisparatetestresultswereobtained,andthatarerandomlyassignedinequalnumberstoeachlaboratoryfortesting.Othermaterialswithestablishedtestvaluesmaybeusedforthispurpose.Thetestresultsfromthetwolaboratoriesshouldbecomparedusingastatisticaltestunpaireddata,ataprobabilitylevelchosenpriortothetestingseries.Ifabiasisfound,eitheritscausemustbefoundandcorrected,orfuturetestresultsmustbeadjustedinconsiderationoftheknownbias.Themethod(s)inthestandardalongwiththoseinTestMethodsD2051,D2052,D2053,D2054,D2057,D2059,D2060,D2061,andD2062areacollectionofproventestmethods.Theycanbeusedasaidsintheevaluationofzipperswithouttheneedforathoroughknowledgeofzippers.Theenumeratedtestmethodsdonotprovidefortheevaluationofallzipperproperties.Besidesthosepropertiesmeasuredbymeansoftheenumeratedtestmethodsthereareotherpropertiesthatmaybeimportantforthesatisfactoryperformanceofazipper.Testmethodsformeasuringthosepropertieshavenotbeenpublishedeitherbecausenopracticalmethodshaveyetbeendevelopedorbecauseavalidevaluationoftheinformationresultingfromexistingunpublishedmethodsrequiresanintimateandthoroughknowledgeofzippers.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofthedurabilityoftheenamelorotherdecorativecoatingofzipperswhensubjectedtodrycleaning.1.2Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.

【摘要】:4.1Avarietyofirradiationortreatmentprocessesuselowenergyelectronprocessorstomodifyproductcharacteristics.Dosimetryrequirements,thenumberandfrequencyofmeasurements,andrecordkeepingrequirementswillvarydependingonthetypeandenduseoftheproductsbeingprocessed.Dosimetrymeasurementsareoftenusedinconjunctionwithphysical,chemical,orbiologicaltestingoftheproduct,tohelpverifyspecifictreatmentparameters.NOTE1-Inmanycasesreferencedatamaybedeveloped,comparingdosimetryresultswithotherquantitativeproducttesting;forexample,gelfraction,meltflow,modulus,molecularweightdistribution,orcureanalysistestscanbeusedtoestimateradiationdoseinspecificrelevantmaterials.4.2Radiationprocessingspecificationsusuallyincludeaminimumormaximumabsorbeddoselimit,orboth.Foragivenapplicationtheselimitsmaybesetbygovernmentregulationorbylimitsinherenttotheproductitself.4.3Criticalprocessparametersmustbecontrolledtoobtainreproducibledosedistributioninprocessedmaterials.Theelectronbeamenergy(ineVorkeV),beamcurrent(inmA),spatialdistributionofthebeam,andexposuretimeorprocesslinespeedallaffectabsorbeddose.NOTE2-Insomeliquid-to-solidpolymerizationapplications(oftenreferredtoasradiationcuring),theresidualoxygenlevelduringirradiationmustbecontrolledtoachieveconsistentresults.Ahighlevelofresidualoxygencanaffectproductperformanceinthesecuringapplications,butdoesnotaffecttheabsorbeddose.However,oxygeneffectsontheresponsefunctionofthedosimeterusedinthemeasurementofdoseshouldbetakenintoaccount.4.4Beforeanyradiationprocesssystemcanbeutilized,itmustbevalidatedtodetermineitseffectiveness.Thisinvolvestestingoftheprocessequipment,calibratingthemeasuringinstruments,anddemonstratingtheabilitytodeliverthedesireddosewithinthedesireddoserangeinareliableandreproduciblemanner.1.1Thispracticecoversdosimetricprocedurestobefollowedtodeterminetheperformanceoflowenergy(300keVorless)single-gapelectronbeamradiationprocessingfacilities.Otherpracticesandproceduresrelatedtofacilitycharacterization,productqualification,androutineprocessingarealsodiscussed.1.2Theelectronenergyrangecoveredinthispracticeisfrom80keVto300keV.Suchelectronbeamscanbegeneratedbysingle-gapself-containedthermalfilamentorplasmasourceaccelerators.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
