【摘要】:ThisEuropeanStandardspecifiesmethodsfortheidentificationandassessmentofhazardoussituationsleadingtoexplosionandthedesignandconstructionmeasuresappropriatefortherequiredsafety.Thisisachievedby:-hazardidentification;-riskassessment;-reductionofrisk;-informationforuse.Thesafetyofequipment,protectivesystemsandcomponentscanbeachievedbyeliminatingofhazardsand/orlimitingtherisk,i.e.by:a)designwithoutusingsafeguarding;b)safeguarding;c)communicationlinksifnecessarytoconveyinformationtotheuser;d)anyotherprecautions.Measuresinaccordancewitha)(prevention)andb)(protection)againstexplosionsaredealtwithinClause6,measuresaccordingtoc)againstexplosionsaredealtwithinClause7.Measuresinaccordancewithd)arenotspecifiedinthisEuropeanStandard.TheyaredealtwithinENISO12100-1:2003,Clause5.ThepreventiveandprotectivemeasuresdescribedinthisEuropeanStandardwillnotprovidetherequiredlevelofsafetyunlesstheequipment,protectivesystemsandcomponentsareoperatedwithintheirintendeduseandareinstalledandmaintainedaccordingtotherelevantcodesofpracticeorrequirements.Thisstandardspecifiesgeneraldesignandconstructionmethodstohelpdesignersandmanufacturersinachievingexplosionsafetyinthedesignofequipment,protectivesystemsandcomponents.ThisEuropeanStandardisapplicabletoanyequipment,protectivesystemsandcomponentsintendedtobeusedinpotentiallyexplosiveatmospheres,underatmosphericconditions.Theseatmospherescanarisefromflammablematerialsprocessed,usedorreleasedbytheequipment,protectivesystemsandcomponentsorfrommaterialsinthevicinityoftheequipment,protectivesystemsandcomponentsand/orfromthematerialsofconstructionoftheequipment,protectivesystemsandcomponents.ThisEuropeanStandardisapplicabletoequipment,protectivesystemsandcomponentsatallstagesofitsuse.ThisEuropeanStandardisonlyapplicabletoequipmentgroupIIwhichisintendedforuseinotherplacesthanundergroundpartsofminesandthosepartsofsurfaceinstallationsofsuchminesendangeredbyfiredampand/orflammabledust.ThisEuropeanStandardisnotapplicableto:i)medicaldevicesintendedforuseinamedicalenvironment;ii)equipment,protectivesystemsandcomponentswheretheexplosionhazardresultsexclusivelyfromthepresenceofexplosivesubstancesorunstablechemicalsubstances;iii)equipment,protectivesystemsandcomponentswheretheexplosioncanoccurbyreactionofsubstanceswithotheroxidizersthanatmosphericoxygenorbyotherhazardousreactionsorbyotherthanatmosphericconditions;iv)equipmentintendedforuseindomesticandnon-commercialenvironmentswherepotentiallyexplosiveatmospheresmayonlyrarelybecreated,solelyasaresultoftheaccidentalleakageoffuelgas;v)personalprotectiveequipmentcoveredbyDirective89/686/EEC;vi)seagoingvesselsandmobileoffshoreunitstogetherwithequipmentonboardsuchvesselsorunits;vii)meansoftransport,i.e.vehiclesandtheirtrailersintendedsolelyfortransportingpassengersbyairorbyroad,railorwaternetworks,aswellasmeansoftransportinsofarassuchmeansaredesignedfortransportinggoodsbyair,bypublicroadorrailnetworksorbywater.Vehiclesintendedforuseinapotentiallyexplosiveatmosphereshallnotbeexcluded;viii)thedesignandconstructionofsystemscontainingdesired,controlledcombustionprocesses,unlesstheycanactasignitionsourcesinpotentiallyexplosiveatmospheres.
