【摘要】:1.1Thistestmethodcoversdeterminationoftheshort-timecompressibilityandrecoveryatroomtemperatureofsheet-gasketmaterials,form-in-placegaskets,andincertaincases,gasketscutfromsheets.Itisnotintendedasatestforcompressibilityunderprolongedstressapplication,generallyreferredtoasx201C;creep,x201D;orforrecoveryfollowingsuchprolongedstressapplication,theinverseofwhichisgenerallyreferredtoasx201C;compressionset.x201D;Also,itisnotintendedfortestsatotherthanroomtemperature.Aresiliencycharacteristic(theamountrecoveredexpressedasapercentageofthecompressedthickness)mayalsobecalculatedfromthetestdatawheredesired.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
