【摘要】:ThispartofISO14855specifiesamethodfordeterminingtheultimateaerobicbiodegradabilityofplasticmaterialsundercontrolledcompostingconditionsbygravimetricmeasurementoftheamountofcarbondioxideevolved.Themethodisdesignedtoyieldanoptimumrateofbiodegradationbyadjustingthehumidity,aerationandtemperatureofthecompastingvessel.Themethodappliestothefollowingmaterials:--naturaland/orsyntheticpolymersandcopolymers,andmixturesofthese;--plasticmaterialsthatcontainadditivessuchasplasticizersorcolorants;--water-solublepolymers;--materialsthat,underthetestconditions,donotinhibittheactivityofmicro-organismspresentintheinoculum.Ifthetestmaterialinhibitsmicro-organismsintheinoculum,anothertypeofmaturecompostorpre-exposurecompostcanbeused.
