【摘要】:Designersandinstallersofwaterproofingsystemsmayconsultthisguideforadiscussionofimportantelementsoftheuseofcoldliquid-appliedwaterproofingmembranesandassociatedelementsofconstruction.Thisguideisnotintendedtoserveasaspecificationforwaterproofinginstallation.Long-termperformanceofwaterproofingwithaseparatewearingcourseisimportantbecauseofthesubstantialdifficultyindeterminingthelocationofleakageandinremovingoverlyingmaterialstomakerepairs.RefertoGuideC1471forapplicationonbelowgradewallsandverticalsurfaces.1.1Thisguidedescribestheuseofahighsolidscontent,coldliquid-appliedelastomericwaterproofingmembranethatmeetsthecriteriainSpecificationC836,inawaterproofingsystemsubjecttohydrostaticpressureforbuildingdecksoveroccupiedspacewherethemembraneiscoveredwithaseparateprotectivewearingcourse.1.2ThevaluesstatedineitherSIunitsorinch-poundunitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasstandard.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemmaynotbeexactequivalents;therefore,eachsystemshallbeusedindependentlyoftheother.Combiningvaluesfromthetwosystemsmayresultinnon-conformancewiththestandard.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
