【摘要】:Thistestmethodisbasedonthecoldoxidationoftheglycerolbysodiummetaperiodateinastrongacidicmedium.Formaldehydeandformicacidareproducedinthisreactionandthelatterisusedtomeasuretheglycerolcontentbytitrationwithstandardsodiumhydroxidesolution,toapH8.1x00B1;0.1.TheglycerolcontentisexpressedasapercentageInterferences8212;Theglycerinsampleshouldbefreeoforganiccompoundswithmorethantwohydroxylgroupsonadjacentcarbonatoms(forexample,sugars,glycols).Thesetypesofcompoundsmayproduceformicacidwhichinterfereswiththedeterminationoftheglycerolcontent.1.1Thistestmethodprovidesthequantitativedeterminationofglycerinbythetitrimetricmethod.Itisapplicabletoallglycerinorglycerin/watermixtures>75%.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.1.3Thisstandardmayinvolvehazardousmaterials,operationsandequipment.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyproblemsassociatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityofwhoeverusesthisstandardtoconsulttheestablishedandappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.SpecificprecautionsarelistedinSection8.
