【摘要】:IMPORTANT—Theelectronicfileofthisdocumentcontainscolourswhichareconsideredtobeusefulforthecorrectunderstandingofthedocument.Usersshouldthereforeconsiderprintingthisdocumentusingacolourprinter.ThepurposeofthispartofISO/TR10809istoassistthedesignengineertounderstandandtoacquireknowledgeofhowthefamilyofcastironmaterialscanbeweldedandtoutilizethistechnologytoitsfulladvantageinselectingthemostappropriatetechniqueforaparticularcastiron.Becausetheapplicationofweldingtechnologyandthemetallurgicalimplicationsofweldingarenotscientificdisciplinesnormallytaughttoengineeringstudents,suchusersoftenhavelimitedknowledgeofthefundamentalsunderpinningweldingtechnologyforcastirons.ThispartofISO/TR10809explainswhatcanbeachieved,whatcannotbeachievedandwhy.Itisnotdesignedtobeatextbookofweldingtechnology.Ithelpsuserstoselectthemostappropriateweldingprocessandconditionsforaspecificapplication.ThispartofISO/TR10809coversproduction(includingfinishingandjointwelding)andrepairwelding.
